Uncovering, meeting and exceeding client needs is what Stefani does. Moving from service to sales and then to recruiting, Stefani has always understood that her success has come from delivering on the needs of her clients. While an agency recruiter working on searches for management and executive level positions, she consistently broke placement records. As an internal recruiter for high profile retailers, she successfully led a team recruiting for hundreds of field and corporate positions annually, including positions based in the US. Stefani first leveraged her natural skills in uncovering and delivering on client needs into a service lead role in desktop publishing. She then moved into sales, building on her client-focused skills further in dealing with some of Toronto’s top publishers and creative trade. Adding in her love of dealing with people, Stefani then moved into a client-side recruiting role for Armor Personnel, focused on executive and temporary roles for a broad range of industries. She was rapidly promoted to Branch Manager and proceeded to break records in placement volume.

Turning her focus to recruiting for retail, Stefani joined The People Bank in a new business development role and then moved to become a Permanent Placement Consultant for the retail sector. In that role she moved rapidly into the “Top 5” nationally for her success in filling roles including field positions from Store to Regional Manager, senior merchandise and supply chain positions, and corporate Director and VP level positions.

Stefani then moved from agency to internal recruiting, joining Sears Canada as a Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on corporate roles. Moving to Old Navy/Gap Inc. as Recruitment Manager for Canada and the Western US, Stefani built and rolled out the recruitment strategy for the 270 stores she was responsible for, including internal movement as well as external recruiting. From there, Stefani moved on to Holt Renfrew as Manager of Talent Acquisition, where she led her team to successfully fill large numbers of roles for all corporate roles from entry level to the executive suite.

Stefani joined JRoss in 2016, continuing her focus on serving retailers in Canada from our Toronto office.
