Description

As Store Manager, you lead by example, guiding your team to assist customers with finding their perfect pair of glasses, and ensuring the necessary measurements are taken. To support the optometrists and clinic operations, you will be responsible for making sure every patient has a positive experience and a smooth transition from the clinic exam room to the retail sales floor. You will assist the opticians with troubleshooting and adjusting frames, and you will become a subject matter expert in optical-related information. As a leader for the retail store, you will demonstrate initiative when it comes to understanding new products, services, promotions, and handling and resolving customer escalations.

You will determine how your team can achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, communicating team and individual results to drive revenue performance. You will also coach and develop your team to achieve a high level of customer service standards.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience in a retail management role; experience in an optical environment is considered a huge asset
  • Because you have a commitment to driving sales, customer service, and working as a team to achieve store targets
  • Because you have excellent written and communication skills
  • Because you are open minded, have a positive attitude, and are adaptable to new environments
  • Because you are flexible with your schedule and are available to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
