They are seeking a Product Category Manager, Lighting, to oversee the end-to-end management of the lighting product category across showrooms nationally. This role plays a critical part in shaping the product assortment, strengthening vendor partnerships, supporting sales strategies, and training showroom teams to drive performance and market leadership. With deep lighting expertise and a sharp eye for trends and data, the Product Category Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to elevate the company’s competitive position in a highly specialized and dynamic sector.

Own the lighting category, including product selection, pricing, assortment, and procurement.

Build and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

Analyze category sales, margin performance, and market trends using data tools (e.g., DOMO dashboards) to inform decisions.

Partner with showroom managers, marketing, procurement, supply chain, and display teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Provide product knowledge and selling strategy training to showroom teams.

Identify growth opportunities, optimize vendor performance, and increase market share.
Requirements

You have 5+ years’ experience in product management, category management, or merchandising, ideally within lighting.
- Experience engaging with or reporting to executives and c suite level. This role reports to the Vice President of Showrooms

You bring deep knowledge of lighting products and an understanding of the competitive landscape.
