A leading, customer-focused cannabis retailer is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, elevate guest experience, and lead a passionate team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Description

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of budtenders/sales associates through clear expectations and consistent feedback.

  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to deliver exceptional service and product knowledge.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and continuous learning.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal cannabis regulations, including ID verification, inventory handling, and reporting requirements.

  • Maintain accurate inventory management, loss-prevention practices, and daily operational checklists.

  • Oversee scheduling, payroll administration, cash management, and opening/closing procedures.

Guest Experience & Community Engagement

  • Deliver a warm, approachable, and educational guest experience aligned with the brand’s values.

  • Support product knowledge initiatives, ensuring the team can speak confidently about strains, formats, accessories, and responsible consumption.

  • Build strong community relationships and represent the location with professionalism.

Sales & Performance

  • Drive store performance through merchandising, promotional execution, KPI management, and data-driven decisions.

  • Identify opportunities to increase conversion, basket size, and customer loyalty.

  • Uphold visual merchandising standards, cleanliness, and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of retail management experience; cannabis experience is an asset but not mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of cannabis regulations or a willingness to complete all required certifications (e.g., CannSell, SellSafe).

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a high-compliance, high-transaction environment.

  • Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable multitasking with a hands-on approach.
