Description
- Lead daily retail operations within a high-volume, customer-focused environment
- Spend approximately 80% of time on the sales floor supporting clients and coaching the team
- Drive sales performance through active customer engagement and service leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve operational and sales goals
- Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable store culture
- Support merchandising, inventory management, and visual presentation standards
- Help scale staffing and operational priorities during peak seasonal periods
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, product categories, and emerging trends
- Assist in achieving financial targets including sales, payroll, and operational KPIs
- Act as a brand ambassador within the local outdoor and active lifestyle community
- Partner closely with senior leadership on succession planning and future growth opportunities
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience leading retail teams in retail, hospitality, or managing a ski hill; must be passionate about skiing
- Skiing, snowboarding, or outdoor lifestyle product knowledge is a requirement
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
- Proven ability to thrive during busy seasonal peaks and rapidly changing business conditions
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong front-of-house presence
- Passion for customer service and building long-term client relationships

- Strong organizational and communication skills
