Summary

A leading upscale fashion and lifestyle brand is seeking a senior regional leader to oversee its multi-store network across Western Canada. Known for its elevated product offering, strong brand identity, and commitment to delivering a refined customer experience, the organization continues to build its presence through best-in-class retail execution and high-performing store leadership. You will be responsible for shaping the performance, culture, and execution of the region, ensuring the brand is consistently represented to the highest standard across every store. This role carries full accountability for regional sales, EBITDA, and budget delivery, with a clear mandate to drive commercial results through disciplined execution and strong people leadership.

A key focus of the role is translating brand strategy into consistent store-level performance. This includes building and developing strong Store and District Managers, creating alignment across the field, and ensuring teams are equipped, engaged, and accountable for delivering results. There is a strong emphasis on leadership presence, operational excellence, and customer experience. The successful candidate will be close to the business, actively supporting store teams, and ensuring every location delivers a seamless, elevated customer journey that reflects the brand at its best. Ultimately, this is a high-impact, highly visible role for a commercially driven retail leader who knows how to balance strategy with execution, and who takes pride in building strong teams, strong stores, and strong results across an entire region $140,000-150,000

Description

General Business Management

  • Build and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts aligned to business trends and targets
  • Lead ongoing analysis of actual performance versus budget, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
  • Develop and execute action plans to optimize performance at both regional and store levels
  • Prepare and deliver regular business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly, YTD) with clear KPI analysis
  • Monitor performance drivers and ensure accountability across all store locations
  • Support senior leadership with reporting, insights, and execution of strategic priorities
  • Ensure consistent understanding and communication of business performance across the field
  • Uphold company values and ensure alignment across all retail operations

Sales & Operations

  • Drive regional sales performance through disciplined KPI tracking, coaching, and field leadership
  • Partner with Store Managers to build and execute actionable performance plans
  • Manage wage and labour cost efficiency through scheduling discipline, SPH management, and staffing optimization
  • Ensure consistent execution of corporate directives, including product launches, promotions, visual standards, and operational policies
  • Act as a key liaison between store leadership and corporate teams
  • Oversee training completion and development programs across the region
  • Monitor competitive activity and share relevant market intelligence
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, IT, and distribution partners
  • Lead regional rollouts including store openings, renovations, rebrands, and operational initiatives

Customer Experience

  • Ensure consistent execution of customer journey standards across all stores
  • Drive adoption of omni-channel tools and customer engagement programs
  • Monitor customer experience KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Address and resolve escalated customer service issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure all stores consistently reflect brand standards and service expectations

Professional & Regulatory Oversight

  • Maintain strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and ensure full compliance
  • Oversee workforce planning for licensed and critical roles across the region
  • Partner with service providers and external professionals as required to support operational needs
  • Ensure appropriate scheduling and coverage to meet service and revenue expectations
  • Monitor talent availability and ensure proactive recruitment of key roles

Team & Culture Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop District and Store Managers across the region
  • Build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, engagement, and results
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for all new hires and leadership roles
  • Develop succession plans and identify high-potential talent within the region
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure consistent application of performance management standards
  • Partner with HR on employee relations, performance issues, and workforce planning
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and high-morale working environment across all stores
  • Manage staffing approvals, wage recommendations, and hiring alignment within budget parameters
  • Drive internal mobility, development, and career progression strategies
  • Analyse labour trends and implement strategies to optimize workforce efficiency and cost

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive retail experience, Including 5+ years in a s Regional Sales Director role
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed retail teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and EBITDA targets
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • High level of comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment
  • Proven ability to execute operational strategy at store level
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s licence with ability to travel regularly across the region
