Summary

An established entertainment destination in Calgary is seeking a skilled and motivated Games Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its table games department. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of games, regulatory compliance, exceptional guest service, and team development. As Games Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the gaming floor, providing leadership and guidance to dealers and pit staff while upholding the integrity of all table games. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and engaging environment for both guests and employees, while ensuring strict compliance with all gaming regulations and internal controls.

Description

  • Oversee the daily operation of all table games, ensuring smooth gameplay and adherence to internal controls

  • Lead, support, and develop a team of table games employees, promoting a positive and performance-driven culture

  • Monitor gaming activities and ensure strict compliance with all provincial gaming regulations and internal procedures

  • Respond to incidents involving suspected cheating, theft, or other irregularities, and report appropriately

  • Ensure secure handling and storage of gaming assets, equipment, and sensitive materials

  • Maintain a high level of visibility on the floor to support both staff and guests

  • Act as the senior leader in the absence of upper management, providing operational continuity and sound decision-making

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by promoting engagement, resolving escalated issues, and reinforcing service standards with staff

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in casino operations or table games management

  • Strong knowledge of table games, gaming regulations, and security procedures

  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a high-paced, guest-facing environment

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • On-site role in a dynamic casino environment

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
