Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets across event, banquet, and catering segments.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, event planners, and corporate clients.

  • Partner with marketing to enhance brand awareness and generate qualified leads through campaigns and social media presence.

  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing structures, and event proposals to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of events from booking to delivery.

  • Represent the venue at industry events, trade shows, and community functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality sales, ideally with luxury venues, hotels, or catering operations.

  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales goals.

  • Strong understanding of event sales, banquet operations, and the Edmonton market.

  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and business acumen.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
