We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a premium fast casual restaurant environment in downtown Toronto. Reporting directly to senior operations leadership, this role will be responsible for overall store performance including guest experience, team leadership, operational execution, financial accountability, labor management, inventory control, and food quality standards.
This position is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in high-volume environments, leads by example on the floor, and is comfortable operating within kitchen environments utilizing chit/ticket systems to ensure speed, consistency, and accuracy of service.

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
Description
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient service execution
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence throughout the restaurant
- Lead by example during peak service periods while supporting both front and back-of-house operations
- Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and brand expectations
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively
Financial & Business Management
- Manage store budgets, labor costs, revenue targets, and operational profitability
- Review and analyze weekly P&L reporting, sales performance, and operational metrics
- Implement cost-control strategies while maintaining product quality and guest satisfaction
- Oversee cash handling procedures and financial reconciliations
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard team members across restaurant operations
- Develop schedules aligned with business levels and labor budgets
- Foster a positive and performance-driven workplace culture
- Mentor, coach, and develop employees while supporting long-term growth opportunities
- Conduct regular performance discussions and operational training initiatives
Kitchen Operations & Inventory Control
- Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure consistency, speed of service, and operational efficiency
- Maintain comfort operating within kitchen environments utilizing chit/ticket systems
- Monitor inventory levels and ordering processes to minimize waste and shortages
- Support inventory controls and food cost management initiatives
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency standards are upheld at all times
Compliance & Administration
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and employment standards
- Ensure accurate completion of payroll, inventory, scheduling, and operational documentation
- Prepare and review operational reports related to labor, inventory, and sales performance
- Support vendor coordination and supply management processes
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience within hospitality, QSR, restaurant, or food service operations
- Proven success leading high-volume operations and managing large frontline teams
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and ticket/chit-driven service environments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Experience managing labor, food costs, inventory, and operational budgets
- Strong operational discipline with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant operational software considered an asset
- Food Safety Certification
