They are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and highly organized Cash Office Manager to oversee the integrity of all cash-related controls on site. This is a pivotal back-of-house role responsible for daily reconciliation, cash control, documentation, compliance, and operational support. The successful candidate will bring strong accuracy, discretion, and financial discipline to a fast-paced environment where process, accountability, and confidentiality are essential.

Description

  • Reconcile daily point-of-sale system reports to cash received, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Manage petty cash transactions, including disbursements, replenishments, and accurate record keeping
  • Monitor ATM cash levels and place replenishment orders as required to avoid service interruption
  • Oversee the accurate and timely distribution of employee gratuities in accordance with company policies
  • Provide operational support to cash cage attendants during peak periods, absences, or as required
  • Review and verify bank deposit slips for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
  • Review and verify the daily deposit tracker, flagging irregularities for management review
  • Compile and organize backup documentation packages for the accounting team to support audit and month-end processes
  • Adhere to all internal controls, regulatory requirements, and anti-money laundering policies
  • Collaborate with cage supervisors and finance leadership to identify process improvements and strengthen controls

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a cash-handling role within a high-volume environment, preferably in casino, hotel, hospitality, or entertainment operations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data and point-of-sale systems
  • Experience with BCLC, Squirrel, Micros, or Oracle Opera would be considered an asset
  • Strong financial reconciliation skills and excellent accuracy with numerical data
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to create, develop, and maintain detailed spreadsheets
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licensing as mandated by BCLC and GPEB
  • High level of personal integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential financial information
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a regulated environment
