Description

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and a welcoming guest experience
  • Coach, mentor, and inspire the service team to deliver consistent, elevated hospitality
  • Maintain a strong floor presence during service, supporting the team and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Oversee scheduling, training, performance management, and ongoing team development
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure seamless execution between food, beverage, and service operations
  • Support inventory management, cost controls, and operational processes to maximize profitability
  • Develop strong relationships with guests and the local community
  • Handle guest feedback and service challenges with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Champion a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading front-of-house operations in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of wine, with WSET certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing hospitality teams
  • Exceptional communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Calm, resilient, and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing labour, service standards, and operational performance
  • Genuine interest in the Collingwood lifestyle, including outdoor recreation and community involvement
  • A long-term commitment to building roots within the Collingwood community
