Summary
Our client is seeking a warm, organized, and customer-focused Marina Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of a busy marina operation. This is a highly visible role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, building relationships, and creating a welcoming experience for members, guests, and visitors. Working closely with both the office and dock teams, the Marina Administrative Coordinator will help ensure reservations, customer accounts, communications, and administrative processes are handled accurately and professionally. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail. They will bring a positive attitude, sound judgment, and a willingness to step in wherever support is needed. Salary is $26.00 - $28.00 p/h
Description
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members, guests, visitors, and prospective customers, providing friendly and professional service in person, by phone, and by email.
- Coordinate marina reservations, slip assignments, customer records, and related documentation.
- Respond to inquiries, provide information about marina services, and help resolve customer concerns in a timely and thoughtful manner.
- Maintain accurate customer files, agreements, payment information, and administrative records.
- Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, account follow-up, and reconciliation.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, data entry, reporting, and financial administration.
- Work closely with dock staff to communicate arrivals, departures, service requests, and operational updates.
- Coordinate with the broader team to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience across the marina.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, notices, and other administrative materials.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure records are complete, current, and confidential.
- Assist with seasonal preparation, customer communications, marina events, and other operational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to a well-organized, efficient office.
- Provide general administrative support and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, reservations, hospitality, tourism, marina operations, or property management.
- A warm, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

- Availability to work a schedule that may include weekends or holidays during peak marina season.
