Summary

A high-performing luxury retailer specializing in fine jewellery and prestige timepieces is seeking a Store Director to lead a flagship boutique in Canada. This role requires more than retail leadership. It demands a commercially driven operator who understands high-value transactions, long sales cycles, and the expectations of a sophisticated, high-net-worth clientele. The Store Director will own the full performance of the boutique, driving revenue, elevating client experience, and building a team capable of operating at a true luxury standard. This is a leadership role for someone who is present, decisive, and accountable for results. Location dependant - $90-120k+ substantial bonus.

Description

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performance sales team with a strong focus on clienteling and conversion
  • Drive boutique revenue through disciplined KPI management, pipeline development, and sales leadership on the floor
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value clients, focusing on repeat business and long-term loyalty
  • Lead from the front by actively engaging clients during peak periods and high-value transactions
  • Oversee all boutique operations including inventory control, merchandising standards, and brand execution
  • Recruit strategically, prioritizing quality of hire over speed to protect brand integrity
  • Partner with senior leadership to execute commercial strategies and capitalize on market opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in fine jewellery, luxury watches, or comparable high-ticket retail environments
  • Strong track record of delivering against significant revenue targets, not just maintaining budget
  • Deep understanding of clienteling, relationship management, and long-cycle sales
  • Ability to lead seasoned sales professionals, not just train junior staff
  • Highly polished presence with the confidence to engage a discerning, high-net-worth clientele
  • Operationally disciplined with a strong focus on execution
