Summary

A well-established Canadian workwear and footwear retailer is seeking a relationship-driven Commercial Account Manager to join its commercial sales team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building long-term client partnerships, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to a collaborative, performance-oriented environment.

Based out of the Abbotsford area with regular client-facing and on-the-road responsibilities, this role combines account management, business development, and operational sales support within a fast-paced retail and commercial sales environment. The successful candidate will bring a strong customer-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving revenue growth across corporate and commercial accounts.

Description

Business Development & Account Management

  • Develop and grow new commercial and corporate business opportunities within assigned markets
  • Manage and strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for account expansion
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key corporate accounts, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness
  • Build long-term customer partnerships through consultative selling and relationship management
  • Identify revenue opportunities and contribute to overall commercial sales growth strategies
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, buying teams, and internal stakeholders

Sales Support & Operational Execution

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and customized solutions for commercial clients
  • Support day-to-day sales operations, account administration, and client coordination
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of orders and customer requirements
  • Assist with planning, reporting, and sales performance analysis
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reporting and account performance updates
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, opportunities, and service requirements

Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and team-oriented sales culture
  • Support broader commercial sales initiatives and strategic growth objectives
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and strong relationship-building skills
  • Maintain a proactive and solution-focused approach when supporting clients and internal teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience required
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or call centre sales environment considered an asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Strong business development and account management capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales reporting and performance trends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
