Summary

Based in Calgary, you'll oversee a portfolio of stores, partnering closely with Store Managers to build strong teams, elevate operational excellence, and deliver consistent business results. You'll spend your time in stores, providing hands-on coaching, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and ensuring each location reflects the brand's standards for customer service, merchandising, and visual presentation.

Success in this role comes from balancing people leadership with a commercial focus. You'll analyze sales trends, develop action plans, support talent development, and foster a culture of accountability and engagement across your district. Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners, you'll help execute key business initiatives while adapting to the changing needs of the retail environment.

Description

  • District Operations Leadership - You will oversee a portfolio of locations throughout the Calgary market, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure each location delivers strong operational performance while maintaining brand expectations and company standards.
  • Business Performance and Sales Growth - You will partner with Store Managers to analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and develop strategies that improve results. Through regular review of business metrics and in-store coaching, you will help teams maximize sales, productivity, and overall store performance.
  • Store Manager Development and Coaching - You will play a key role in developing Store Managers by providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support. You will help leaders strengthen their teams, improve execution, and create an environment where associates feel motivated, valued, and accountable.
  • Customer Experience and Brand Standards - You will ensure stores consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the brand’s values. You will support teams in creating engaging shopping environments through strong service, product presentation, and attention to detail.
  • Operational Excellence - Through regular store visits and ongoing communication with store teams, you will identify opportunities to improve processes, maintain operational standards, and ensure consistent execution across all locations. You will support compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and operational procedures.
  • Execution of Business Initiatives - You will collaborate with regional and corporate partners to successfully implement seasonal programs, merchandising strategies, promotions, and key business initiatives across the district.
  • Market and Community Engagement - You will encourage stores to build meaningful connections within their local communities while strengthening brand awareness and customer loyalty within the Calgary market.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a District Manager, Regional Manager, or similar multi-unit retail leadership role in the apparel setor
  • Strong background in apparel, fashion, specialty retail, or high-volume customer-focused environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple locations and develop strong Store Manager teams
  • Passion for coaching, talent development, and creating engaged retail teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales results and drive business improvements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using retail reporting systems, operational tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Calgary market
  • Flexible and adaptable leader who can thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
