A leading designer consignment retailer is seeking a Marketing Director to lead and elevate its overall marketing function. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic, brand-driven marketer who understands how to connect fashion, sustainability, and community through compelling storytelling and high-performance marketing. This role goes beyond campaigns and channels. It’s about building a brand people feel connected to — online, in-store, and through lived experiences. The Marketing Director will lead a multidisciplinary marketing team, partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership, and play a key role in shaping the brand’s digital presence, customer journey, and long-term growth. The Marketing Director is responsible for setting marketing strategy, optimizing performance, and ensuring all marketing efforts reinforce a premium, highly curated customer experience. This leader will oversee digital, creative, and engagement functions while maintaining a strong on-the-ground connection to stores, events, and community activations.
Description
Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business goals across brand, digital, engagement, and retail touchpoints. Translate company objectives into clear plans, campaigns, and priorities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team. Partner closely with the CEO and senior executives on brand evolution and digital experience, and collaborate cross-functionally with retail, merchandising, operations, and creative partners.
Digital Marketing & Performance Oversight
Own digital performance across paid channels, analytics, and funnel optimization. Drive growth in traffic, acquisition, retention, and conversion through data-informed decision-making.
Brand & Creative Direction
Guide the creation of high-quality content, campaigns, and visuals. Ensure consistency in tone, storytelling, and brand expression across all platforms while maintaining a premium, fashion-forward aesthetic.
Budgeting, Planning & Reporting
Manage marketing budgets and resource allocation. Establish clear KPIs, lead reporting on channel performance and customer insights, and present results and recommendations to the executive team.
Retail & Customer Experience Integration
Ensure marketing initiatives support store traffic, customer lifecycle goals, and a seamless online-to-offline experience. Maintain visibility into store activity, customer sentiment, and evolving retail needs.
Community, Events & Partnerships
Support and grow events, partnerships, influencer relationships, and PR opportunities that strengthen brand awareness and deepen customer engagement. Spend time in stores and at events to stay closely connected to the community.
Requirements

6–10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans

Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams

Strong digital marketing and performance analytics expertise

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
