A well-established and rapidly growing diamond and jewellery retailer is entering the Canadian market with its first showroom location. Known for a high-volume, value-driven model and a strong reputation for quality and transparency, they are looking for a hands-on Showroom Manager to lead this launch and build a strong foundation for future growth. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where operational strength, people leadership, and client engagement matter just as much as product knowledge. The Showroom Manager will lead all aspects of the showroom operation—from sales performance and client experience to team leadership and day-to-day execution. This role is highly visible and requires someone who is both commercially minded and strong with people. They are seeking a confident, polished leader with diamond and jewellery experience who can build trust quickly, manage volume, and create a professional, welcoming environment for every client. Description

Sales & Client Experience

  • Lead the showroom floor, supporting the team in delivering a strong, consultative sales experience
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective clienteling and follow-up
  • Drive revenue through a combination of walk-in traffic, appointments, and repeat business
  • Ensure a consistent, professional experience that reflects the brand’s reputation for quality and value

Team Leadership

  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing showroom team
  • Set clear expectations around service standards, sales behaviors, and accountability
  • Coach team members on product knowledge, closing techniques, and client engagement
  • Foster a positive, team-first culture with a focus on results

Operations & Execution

  • Oversee all daily showroom operations, including scheduling, inventory handling, and merchandising standards
  • Ensure accuracy and care in handling high-value diamond and jewellery inventory
  • Implement processes that support both efficiency and a strong client experience
  • Partner with leadership on reporting, performance tracking, and operational improvements

Launch & Growth

  • Play a key role in opening the first Canadian showroom, setting standards and building best practices
  • Act as a local ambassador for the business, helping to establish a presence in the market
  • Support ongoing growth initiatives as the brand expands across Canada

Requirements

  • Experience in diamonds and fine jewellery is required
  • Proven leadership experience in a showroom, retail, or sales-driven environment
  • Strong clienteling skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Polished, professional, and confident in client-facing situations
  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the floor
