A world-class hospitality and gaming destination is seeking an accomplished Director of Operations to join its executive leadership team. This newly created role reflects a long-term commitment to disciplined performance, strong governance, and sustainable growth across a complex, multi-asset operation. With responsibility spanning hotel operations, five food and beverage outlets, and regulated casino/gaming operations, the Director of Operations will play a central role in strengthening systems, improving margins, developing senior leaders, and ensuring consistent, compliant performance across the portfolio. Description

  • Provide executive oversight of multi-unit hospitality and gaming operations, including hotel and five food and beverage outlets

  • Lead financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and P&L management

  • Ensure compliance with all gaming, regulatory, and operational standards

  • Lead, coach, and develop a senior management team, fostering accountability and high performance

  • Standardize operating systems, policies, procedures, and performance metrics across departments

  • Collaborate closely with ownership on long-term planning, capital priorities, and growth initiatives

  • Maintain a strong on-site leadership presence, ensuring operational excellence and service standards are consistently upheld

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned hospitality executive with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. They bring a strong operational foundation, commercial discipline, and the leadership presence required to guide complex, multi-unit operations across hotel, food and beverage, and casino assets. This role is best suited to a leader who combines operational depth with people-first leadership - someone motivated by building strong teams, safe and consistent operations, and sustainable performance across a complex hospitality and gaming portfolio, while contributing meaningfully to the community and Nation the organization serves.

They will demonstrate:

  • Senior-level experience overseeing integrated hotel, food and beverage, casino, and attraction operations within a destination or multi-site environment

  • Current status as a licensed gaming operator, or full eligibility to obtain and maintain the required gaming licence, with direct accountability for casino operations

  • Proven strength as a safety-focused leader, with deep expertise in SOP development, operational processes, and experience operating in remote environments

  • Broad operational experience across food and beverage, hotel operations, maintenance, and capital projects

  • Strong financial and P&L acumen, with a track record of driving both employee engagement and guest satisfaction while delivering disciplined financial results

  • Extensive experience in operations, training, and leadership development across diverse teams and environments

  • The ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization, working effectively across cultural backgrounds and with community and regulatory stakeholders

  • A leadership style that inspires followership through clear values, brand stewardship, and a commitment to hospitality excellence

  • Comfort operating in a smaller or remote market, balancing strategic oversight with visible, hands-on leadership

Corporate Culture

Compensation & Relocation

  • Base salary expected to be $180,000 or higher, commensurate with experience
  • Substanitial variable compensation targeted tied to performance
