Summary
A well-established, full-service hotel in Prince George, British Columbia is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Director of Sales to lead commercial performance and grow market share. This is a highly visible leadership role suited to a hands-on hotel sales professional who enjoys being in the market, building authentic relationships, and converting opportunities into results. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Sales will own the sales function end to end and play a critical role in shaping the hotel’s revenue strategy. The successful candidate will initially operate as a one-person sales department, with plans to expand the team as business grows.

Develop and execute the hotel’s overall sales strategy across corporate, group, leisure, and local market segments

Actively prospect, network, and generate new business through outbound sales and relationship building

Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities

Partner closely with the General Manager and leadership team to align sales efforts with operational goals

Forecast performance, manage the sales pipeline, and track results against defined targets and KPIs

Represent the hotel within the local community, at industry events, and through strategic partnerships

Establish scalable sales systems and processes to support future team growth
Requirements

Minimum six years of total sales experience, including at least four years in hotel sales

Proven success as a confident, outgoing producer who is comfortable initiating conversations and closing business
