Description
- Oversee all operational aspects of the hotel, including rooms, housekeeping, front desk, reservations, and back-office functions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy, average daily rate, and overall profitability.
- Drive sales initiatives, build relationships with corporate and group clients, and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire department heads and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Monitor operational and financial performance metrics, including budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with corporate teams and local stakeholders to enhance market presence and drive brand performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices across all hotel departments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded full-service hotel of similar scale (120+ rooms).
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and profitability.
- Expertise in revenue management, sales generation, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Comfortable operating in a high-touch, service-oriented environment and overseeing multiple operational areas.
- Bilingual - (English/French)
