Early holiday numbers for 2025 are starting to paint a picture for retail that bodes well for the New Year. In the December Retail Conditions webinar, the Retail Council of Canada reported that members had strong September sales, then a softer October followed by a healthy November rebound. Statistics Canada numbers back this up, showing September’s 4.1% YoY increase softening to 3.4% in October but then increasing significantly to 6.3% in November.
